The starting position

With the following regulations, the EU Commission has set the provisions for RMI (Vehicle Repair and Maintenance Information):

The aim of these regulations is to strengthen competition in the service sector. Manufacturers face the threat of type approval being denied if they fail to comply. As a manufacturer, you must therefore ensure that independent workshops have unrestricted and standardized access to information for repair and maintenance.

 

Our Knowhow

Based on many years of professional experience gained through our activities with vehicle manufacturers and importers as well as from the responsibility for homologation and EU type approval, advasco knows the requirements of the existing EU regulations. We have contacts to CEN and ACEA and implement the requirements such as ISO18541 in our software products.
